This variety is long root, externally it is red and the meat is white. It tastes very good, albeit a little spicy. They are usually eaten raw, but can also be cooked.
Purple type of good conservation and medium-late cycle. The bulbs are flattened with purple-copper outer skin when dried. Inwardly they are intense purple towards the surface and violet towards the center. The bulbs are a good size, easily reaching 200 grs.
This variety has an average height of 120 cm and is well branched. The fruit is white meat of very good flavor, and has an almost black dark purple bark.
Direct planting from March to May in Mediterranean climate, and from April to May in continental climate.
